Please continue praying for Jennifer
Well, my friend Jennifer had a setback today. Please continue to pray for her.
The boys and I have been attending Bible Study Fellowship this school year. What a blessing it has been! We are studying the book of Isaiah and this scripture seems so appropriate for JJ right now:
"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Love you Jenn!

Improvement!
Thanks for praying for Jennifer! Her vital signs are looking better and the Dr. decided not to proceed with surgery today because it looks like she is healing well without it. There are still some abnormalities in her kidney function. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thanks so much!

Please pray for Jennifer
My friend, roommate, and bridesmaid, Jennifer Jarrott, is in the CCU with septic shock. Please pray for her body to heal and for wisdom for her doctors and nurses as they try to fight the infection that is attacking her body. Thank you:)
Here's a picture of some of our high school class at our 20th reunion this past summer.

Texas Bowl!
Jerrod surprised me with a great Christmas gift, tickets to the Texas Bowl!
My sweetie and me. I love how he is always cheering on my team! What a guy!
Here comes BUGWB! The Golden Wave Band!
Before the game, a few football greats were honored.
Mean Joe Green! I remember watching him play when I was a little girl. I always loved his Coke commercial, too!
Earl Campbell! Still miss the Oilers.
Here come the Bears!
A few shots of the game. It didn't go the way I hoped but we still had a great time!
The Baylor band and the Illinois band played "Deep in the Heart of Texas" during halftime.

Christmas 2010: Part 10, A Little More Christmas Joy!
Look Woody, it's a trash (recycling) truck!
Not so sure about this "sit and spin" thing....
Oooh, love this truck set from Aunt Holly and Jonathan.
Sort and snap!
More letters!
Running to put new books in his "storytime" chair. Sean loves snuggling with a good book!

Christmas 2010: Part 9, Home for Christmas!
Stocking time! It really is the little things that make life fun!
Gum!
Candy!
After months of asking.......Woody and Jessie!
Kiss kiss!
Graham was so proud to surprise us with a hand-stamped dish towel he made at school. He also "bought" us gifts at the Awana Christmas store. For mom, a Precious Moments figurine (wow!) and for dad, sunflower hand towels. He told his teacher "my dad will love these".

Christmas 2010: Part 8, Shafer Family Christmas
After lunch and Christmas at my parents house, we headed to my
Aunt Elaine and Uncle Gene's house for Christmas no. 3!
This is Aunt Elaine's precious and very patient dog. The boys want their own dog so bad. We will have to wait a few years. Fresca and mom and dad can't handle that right now.
The boys had so much fun playing with their cousins Macey and Braden. We don't get to see each other very often so it was really fun seeing them together.
This is my cousin Melissa's husband Michael with Sean. Isn't this the sweetest picture? You would think they spend tons of time together but this is only their
second visit with each other.
Here's Melissa with the kids. We just found out that Melissa and Michael are having their first child this coming summer! They are going to be awesome parents!
Jerrod, my cousin Kim, and Michael having way too much fun playing with the Barbie Veterinarian set that Graham gave Macey.
My nephew Jonathan. I have threatened to tag this one on Facebook:)!
