Christmas 2010: Part 3, This Year's Ornaments

Each year we buy the boys a new ornament for the Christmas tree.  We always try to pick out something to help us remember what they really loved this year or a special memory.

Sean has really been interested in Curious George.  I was playing with my Christmas present and captured this series of Sean when he was first looking at his new ornament.  The expressions on his face totally crack me up because they are such a good representation of his personality: fun and inquisitive!

 What is this?
 Oh, it's George!
 Cool!
Graham loves Woody and Jessie from Toy Story so he laid on the floor playing with his Jessie ornament for the longest time....

He finally put his ornament on the tree!  Love that sweet smile of happiness!

Jerrod built this shelf and I finished it for Sean.  It was a hit!

Christmas 2010: Part 1: Happy Birthday Jesus!

This is our 2nd year to have a "Happy Birthday Jesus" party during the Christmas season. Since both the boys celebrate their birthdays in December it's a nice way to transition from celebrating their birthdays to celebrating the birth of Jesus.

"Is Caillou a Weeble Wobble?"
                             -Graham
Why is he bald?  Does anyone out there know?

Look out world!

One of Sean's favorite things to do lately is to pretend like he's driving.   Remember when driving was fun and exciting?  These sweet boys do!

Looking Back: Spring 2010

Since the title of my blog is "History x's Two"  here is a little re-cap of some of our semi-recent history.

Planting our first garden-
not that successful but we are planning on trying again this spring and summer.

21 days?

I have heard over the years that it takes 21 days to begin a new habit.  Obviously I have not done such a great job keeping up with our blog but I'm ready to try again.  Can I add a new post for the next 21 days?  I have 10 months to catch up on so I have plenty of material.  Might as well jump in and see what happens!
